Leidos seeks a Sr. Test Engineer for our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area in Bethesda, MD. Core Responsibilities
- Engage in Agile processes (standups, sprint/increment planning) to test custom applications in commercial cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and developers to estimate efforts and deliver per User Story criteria.
- Design automated test strategies, focusing on regression suites using Selenium and Katalon Studio.
- Implement DevOps practices for test script repeatability, configuration management, and ongoing enhancements.
- Author end-to-end test narratives in JIRA/Confluence; conduct performance testing with JMeter.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience (BS) or 6+ years (Master’s) in software QA/automation; degree flexible with experience.
- Proven automation with Selenium/Katalon; agile test case management.
- Performance testing expertise; AWS/DevOps/SAFe Agile proficiency.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Skills
- Katalon Runtime Engine hands-on experience.
- Java/Python scripting for scalable tests.
- CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub); direct AWS work.

- Experience in Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS) and SAFe Agile/DevOps (experience)
Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile initiatives (standups, planning) for iteration/functionality testing in commercial cloud
- Collaborate on StoryPoint/complexity assessments to meet User Story Acceptance Criteria
- Develop test approaches emphasizing automation of recurring/regression tests using Selenium/Katalon Studio
- Leverage DevOps for repeatability, Configuration Management, and continuous improvement of test cases/scripts
- Develop and document end-to-end test narratives in JIRA/Confluence; support performance testing with JMeter
