Key Responsibilities
- Support O&M for advanced networks: OSPF, BGP, VRFs, VLANs, VRRP, MPLS.
- Monitor performance, configure hardware/software, and execute Tier III resolutions.
- Review upgrades, optimize topologies, and analyze traffic for procurements/modifications.
- Fault isolation, reporting via ServiceNow, and coordination with teams.
- Maintain compliance with open systems standards; handle COMSEC (up to 10%) and after-hours calls.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph and DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
- 16+ years experience (flexible with education: Doctorate+8, Master’s+10, Bachelor’s+12, etc.).
- Proven config/troubleshooting: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Forcepoint, Juniper/Cisco gear, OSPF/BGP/VPN/MPLS.
- Boundary protection best practices, ruleset engineering, IP/NAT/security depth.
- ServiceNow knowledge, MS Office/Visio intermediate, exceptional communication.

Responsibilities
- Administer LAN/WAN networks (OSPF, BGP, VRFs, VLANs, VRRP, MPLS)
- Monitor system/network performance and resolve Tier III incidents
- Configure/test hardware, networking/OS software
- Assess user upgrade requests and recommend technical approaches
- Perform long-term O&M, troubleshooting, fault management
- Analyze network traffic/throughput and optimize topologies
- Coordinate with config management/implementation teams
- Maintain OS, software, databases; ensure open systems compliance
- Handle up to 10% COMSEC duties; after-hours on-call support
