Core Responsibilities

- Optimize topologies, analyze traffic, and recommend component changes.
- Fault isolation, reporting via ServiceNow, and coordination with teams.
- Ensure compliance with open systems standards; handle COMSEC and after-hours incidents.
Strict Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph—non-negotiable.
- 16+ years experience (HS+16, Bach+12, etc.); DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
- Proven hands-on with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/routers/switches, Juniper, BGP/OSPF/VPN.
- Boundary protection best practices, ruleset engineering, schematic proficiency.

Responsibilities

- Assess user upgrade requests and recommend optimizations
- Perform fault management, troubleshooting, and reporting
- Analyze traffic/throughput and optimize topologies
- Coordinate with config management/implementation teams
- Maintain OS, software, and ensure open systems compliance
- Handle up to 10% COMSEC duties and after-hours on-call
