Key Responsibilities

• Develop or modify electrical layouts, foundation plans, section/elevation views, conduit layouts, grounding plans, and control building drawings.
• Prepare electrical schematics and complete wiring design drawings.
• Generate bills of materials for all electrical equipment and materials.
• Review and provide feedback on vendor equipment drawings.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and project teams to enhance efficiency.
• Perform engineering calculations and apply client/national/state standards.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma (Associate's in related field preferred).
• 2+ years direct substation physical/electrical design experience using CAD on utility projects.
• Proficiency in MicroStation; solid skills in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor 3D.
• Advanced 2D/3D design capabilities and ability to learn new software.
• Strong teamwork, analytical skills, attention to detail.
