Design critical substation projects from 12kV to 500kV, integrating renewable energy into the grid using expertise in digital logic, AC/DC circuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relay one-line, three-line AC schematic, and DC protection schematic design.
  • Panel layout, wiring design, and bill of materials development.
  • Quality control, full lifecycle support, and construction assistance.
  • Apply NESC and client standards; collaborate across disciplines.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering + 6+ years in substation protection/control.
  • Proven project execution and drawing design proficiency.

  • Proficiency in reading and designing substation drawings (one-line, three-line, AC/DC schematics, wiring) (experience)
  • Excellent communication skills for team and client interactions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design relay one-line, three-line AC schematics, and DC protection schematics
  • Develop panel layouts, wiring designs, and bills of materials
  • Perform quality control checks on wiring designs
  • Provide full project lifecycle support from scoping to implementation and construction support
  • Apply NESC requirements and client standards to designs
  • Collaborate with designers/drafters to produce project drawings
  • Conduct electrical power calculations and interface with other disciplines
