Leidos Engineering delivers cutting-edge energy technologies and independent oversight to utilities, financial institutions, and governments. We're seeking a Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 6+ years in utility design engineering for our Framingham, MA team (Walled Lake, MI option available).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct design reviews for steel/concrete structures, foundations, rigid bus, oil spill containment, retaining walls, and firewalls in substation projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to bids/proposals.
- Lead as responsible engineer, ensuring QC on design packages.
- Perform site visits, client meetings, lunch & learns, and kick-offs.
- Maintain compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil-Structural Engineering and PE license.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, RISA 3D, FAD Tools, SAFE, SAG10, L-Pile, MS Office, MATHCAD.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/MicroStation.

- Experience reviewing substation structure design, rigid bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, and firewalls (experience)
Responsibilities
