Primary Responsibilities
- Administer Windows/Linux servers: installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning.
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, Ansible for streamlined deployments.
- Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi: VM provisioning, clustering, disaster recovery.
- Monitor health, troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues with root cause analysis.
- Maintain security compliance via scanning, remediation, audits in classified settings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate systems and automate workflows.
- Handle on-call, upgrades, capacity planning for 24/7 ops.
- Document configs, procedures for team continuity.
- Stay ahead on sysadmin, automation, virtualization tech.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's +8yrs or Master's +6yrs (experience may substitute).
- US Citizen, active TS/SCI with Poly.
- CompTIA Security+.
- Windows/Linux sysadmin experience.
- Jenkins/Ansible/VMware hands-on.
- Scripting: PowerShell/Bash/Python.
- Networking/storage/cloud familiarity.
- Strong problem-solving/communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- RHCE, MCSE, VCP certs.
- DevOps, Docker/K8s, Terraform.
- NIST/FISMA in classified envs.
- Hybrid cloud/NSX experience.
