What You’ll Do
Enterprise Systems Administration & Reliability
- Maintain core services: Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, VMware, UNIX, storage, backups
- Conduct daily monitoring for availability, integrity, and AF JWICS SOP compliance
- Achieve 99%+ availability on AD, DRA, SQL, ITSM, Exchange, SCCM, CDS, security tools
- Document health, events, actions in SolarWinds, Splunk, SharePoint, ITSM
Backup, Recovery & Virtualization Support
- Administer AVAMAR backups for data integrity and JWICS compliance
- Support VMware environments: hosting, configuration, troubleshooting, modernization
- Perform restoral testing and maintain restoration procedures
Patch Management & Cyber Readiness
- Manage patches via SCCM, WSUS, Tanium across ESCs and sites
- Track/implement security patches per CCMP processes
- Ensure zero vulnerabilities via analysis, testing, reporting
- Deliver monthly reports to Government leads and COR
Active Directory Standardization & Governance
- Oversee AD replication, schema, OU management
- Administer NetIQ DRA for directory operations
- Maintain privileged accounts, auditing, GPO governance
- Develop AD SOPs, policies, training materials
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Develop/publish SOPs for all services
- Train Government personnel on Windows, UNIX, emerging tech
- Participate in bi-weekly Tech Talks with ESCs/sites
- Troubleshoot complex hardware/software/network issues
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 8–12 years or Master’s + 6–10 years experience
- 8+ years C4I systems admin
- Active TS/SCI clearance (Day 1)
- MCSA & DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+)
- DoD security policies expertise; Air Force intel systems (GALE, GCCS)
- Microsoft Server, VMware, Exchange proficiency

- Strong DoD information security knowledge (COMPUSEC, INFOSEC, MLS) (experience)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize enterprise services including Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, VMware, UNIX, storage, and backups
- Perform daily system monitoring, health checks, and ensure 99%+ availability across critical systems
- Administer AVAMAR backups, VMware environments, and conduct restoral testing
- Manage patch distribution via SCCM, WSUS, Tanium and deliver monthly vulnerability reports
- Oversee AD replication, schema changes, NetIQ DRA, and GPO governance while developing SOPs
- Provide technical leadership, training, Tech Talks, and resolve complex troubleshooting issues
