Systems Engineer Opportunity at Leidos

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize system integrity, performance, and security across Windows and Linux environments.
• Implement and support automation solutions for efficient system administration.
• Ensure full compliance with security standards, protocols, and patching requirements.
• Manage and troubleshoot networking devices including Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.
• Support identity and access services: Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and related network services.
• Contribute to containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Clearly communicate system issues, risks, and escalations to leadership and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline + 6+ years experience, or High School Diploma/GED + 10+ years system engineering.
• Strong Systems Engineering and Administration expertise.
• Deep knowledge of security compliance frameworks and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware/configurations.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerized environments.
• Experience with directory services, authentication, and network services.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
