This role offers the chance to contribute to a critical programme delivering essential services and infrastructure for the future of UK aviation. No prior ATM experience required—comprehensive on-the-job training provided. Work in a hybrid model from Whiteley, near Fareham, Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering expertise across the full life cycle, from problem definition to deployment.
  • Manage requirements using tools like DOORS in an agile environment.
  • Design architecture for real-time, safety-related, and mission-critical systems.
  • Collaborate in multi-functional teams (Systems, Software, Test, Management) to hit sprint milestones.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and suppliers across organisational boundaries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven requirements management and systems architecture experience.
  • Full system life cycle delivery in complex environments.
  • Strong agile team collaboration, communication, and self-starter mindset.
  • Current SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it.

Desired Skills

  • Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Crucible).
  • UK ATM knowledge.
  • Design tools like Enterprise Architect or Cameo; SNMP protocols.
