Leidos is seeking a Junior Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Special Access Program Central Office (SAPCO) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, or Ft. Belvoir, VA. This role places you at the forefront of national security, developing and securing cutting-edge missile defense technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in technology integration evaluations to protect critical program information (CPI) and support protection studies.
  • Define security requirements for sensors, interceptors, systems, and communications; develop integrated test architectures.
  • Conduct formal risk assessments, implement risk management, and ensure security in multi-level environments.
  • Review program requirements, specifications, test plans, and strategies for next-generation capabilities.
  • Craft Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides, and tailored security strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering plus 1+ years of experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
  • Superior technical writing, editing, verbal skills, and real-time audience adaptation.
  • Strong work ethic with proactive updates, follow-ups, and deadline adherence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in DoD/Missile Defense (sensors, interceptors, C2BMC, FMS, LO/CLO).
  • Background in DoD special programs and SAP policy.
  • Extreme attention to detail, organization, and retention of program specifics.
