Tajik (Cyrillic) Linguist with Additional Foreign Language Proficiency

Core Responsibilities
- Translation: Deliver precise translations capturing nuances, cultural references, and geopolitical contexts using target-language norms.
- Interpretation: Execute consecutive interpretation (simultaneous as needed) with regional dialect mastery.
- Transcription: Transcribe audio/internet content into detailed English reports, handling dialectical variations.
- Gisting/Summarization: Extract and prioritize critical insights from vast materials using reference tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 4-8 years or Master’s + 2-6 years experience (substitutable).
- Translation/interpretation degree preferred; HLT experience a plus.
- Primary-level Tajik (Cyrillic) proficiency via Leidos test; additional foreign language required.
- Microsoft Office proficiency; basic research skills.
- Obtain TS/SCI with polygraph (sponsored post-testing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Deployed linguist experience in contingency ops.
- IC/military/law enforcement familiarity.
- Briefing skills; multi-language proficiency.
Additional Requirements
Mandatory OCONUS travel (24/7 support), sponsor training, medical/physical screens, and weapons training. No clearance needed to apply.

- Support OCONUS travel 24/7 and complete required sponsor training
