Leidos, a premier government contractor, has been awarded the high-impact Beacon Intelligence Program in Northern Virginia. This long-term initiative offers exceptional opportunities for Targeting Officers at all experience levels (1-20+ years) to drive national security missions. Work onsite at client locations in Northern Virginia, supporting operational elements through dynamic research, analysis, report writing, and briefings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive operational and support activities across cases.
- Act as the primary liaison for overseas offices.
- Deliver expert operational guidance on active cases.
- Develop and propose innovative operational scenarios.
- Coordinate legal, policy, and compliance issues impacting cases and international partners.
- Perform deep-dive research using diverse intelligence sources for assessments.
- Prepare and present briefings to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Levels
All roles require a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph—no exceptions. Experience levels:
- Level 1: 1 year direct customer experience + Bachelor’s degree
- Level 2: 3 years + Bachelor’s
- Level 3: 7 years + Bachelor’s
- Level 4: 12 years + Bachelor’s
- Level 5: 20 years + Bachelor’s
Degree substitution: 5 years additional direct experience or BA+4 years total. Proven skills in research, analysis, multitasking, analytic writing, team collaboration, and thriving in fast-paced settings with inter-agency coordination.
