Join Leidos' Beacon Intelligence Program as a Targeting Officer
Leidos, a premier government contractor, has secured the Beacon program in Northern Virginia, delivering critical national security impact. We're hiring Targeting Officers at all levels (1-20+ years experience) with active TS/SCI w/Polygraph to support high-stakes intelligence operations against priority targets. Work onsite in Reston, VA, collaborating with elite teams on client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze specialized data for actionable intelligence leads.
- Produce detailed targeting packages to drive operations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across offices and agencies to uncover new leads.
- Perform in-depth searches and disseminate findings through reports and briefings.
- Support senior decision-makers in dynamic, mission-critical environments.
Qualifications by Level
- Level 1: 1+ year experience + Bachelor’s degree.
- Level 2: 3+ years + Bachelor’s.
- Level 3: 7+ years + Bachelor’s.
- Level 4: 12+ years + Bachelor’s.
- Level 5: 20+ years + Bachelor’s. (*5 years extra experience may substitute for degree*)
Mandatory: Current TS/SCI w/Polygraph. No exceptions.
Basic Qualifications
- Proficiency in intelligence databases.
- Proven intelligence research/targeting experience.
- National security operations background.
- IC familiarity, attention to detail, research/analysis skills.
- Strong writing, multitasking, teamwork in fast-paced settings.

- Draft comprehensive targeting packages aligned with client objectives
- Engage stakeholders to address requirements and develop exploitation leads
- Conduct detailed searches on items of interest
- Relay pertinent data to customer components via written reports and briefings
