Technical Intelligence Editor Opportunity at Leidos

Leidos seeks a skilled Technical Intelligence Editor for our Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA) in McLean, VA. Join a team leading in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Support critical US national security and counterterrorism (CT) objectives through professional editing of analytical products in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit products to align with customer style guide standards, including graphics, interactive media, visual aids, and formatting.
• Verify proper sourcing for all products and graphics.
• Finalize publications and provide archiving support.
• Track edited work through production workflow and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Produce, deliver, and archive finished intelligence publications while meeting tight schedules.

Note: This role requires a non-traditional schedule (Monday–Thursday, 12:00pm–10:00pm) with potential additional hours and a 15% shift differential.

Basic Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Strong editorial experience and Bachelor's in English, Linguistics, or related (4–8 years) or Master's (2–6 years).
• Proven experience editing 1-5 page Finished Intelligence Products or Assessments for IC/DoD audiences.
• Collaboration with analysts/managers on IC-supported products.
• Exposure to US foreign policy, CT objectives, interagency processes, and classification procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (Track Changes) and fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe InDesign.
