Leidos UK & Europe is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Whiteley, Hampshire, to support a large-scale systems integration programme. This position requires attaining and maintaining SC clearance and offers the chance to work on cutting-edge defence and security projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate automated test cases by reviewing requirements, design documentation, and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of a new Test Automation Framework.
• Document test results, defects, and report on progress, risks, and issues.
• Investigate technical issues and partner with suppliers to determine root causes and implement resolutions.
• Analyze data and test evidence from suppliers to verify compliance with requirements.
• Drive improvements in processes, including conducting code reviews for new and existing automation scripts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must have proven test experience, ideally with ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate. Expertise in automation tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, JMeter, Appium, SoapUI, Cucumber, Ranorex, GITLab, Sikuli, and Jenkins is essential. Proficiency in Python (using PyCharm) and Javascript, along with experience in the full Testing Lifecycle (Functional, Non-Functional, Integration), Agile/Scrum processes, and SecDevOps pipelines, is required. You should excel at creating manual and automated test cases from requirements and design documents.
