Leidos leads in revolutionizing U.S. Navy simulation, training, and analysis through our High Fidelity Simulation (HFS) Portfolio. We develop, install, and support Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Team Trainers for submarine, surface, and surveillance fleets, directly enhancing warfighter readiness.

Your Role as Trainer Systems Build Supervisor

Oversee and participate in building computer-based training systems and Fleet installations. Travel to Pearl Harbor, San Diego, Norfolk, and international sites to deploy cutting-edge innovations like CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HFS training system builds for Fleet and EDMs, ensuring EDM physical maintenance.
  • Supervise technicians, balance travel schedules, and master all program installations.
  • Advise PMs/TPMs on installation efforts, risks, and feasibility; propose workflow optimizations.
  • Act as SME for new trainer capabilities and builds.
  • Sync with inventory/ILS for pre-install materials and post-install documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • BS or equivalent; 8+ years experience in Navy trainers, builds, supervision, installations, and coordination.
  • US Citizenship; Interim Secret clearance to start.
  • PC proficiency; minimal supervision under deadlines.

Desired Skills

Audio systems, CAD/3D printing, secure IT, Linux, Atlassian, Navy ET/ST/FT background, power/data center knowledge.

  • Experience as Navy ET, ST or FT (desired) (experience)
  • Familiarity with facility power & data center requirements (desired) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate build-out of all HFS training systems for Fleet sites and EDMs at Maryland development sites
  • Supervise technician team, schedule balanced travel assignments, and participate in installations
  • Collaborate with Program Managers on scheduling, advise on feasibility, risk, and propose workflow improvements
  • Serve as SME for new build efforts and trainer capabilities
  • Coordinate with inventory/ILS for BOM materials and documentation availability
