As a Transmission Construction Manager in our Power Delivery Services Division, you'll work alongside management, construction crews, and lead engineers for a major electric utility in the Northeast/New England region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction activities for large-scale transmission programs, managing EPC contractors, materials, and logistics.
- Develop construction, safety, outage, and commissioning plans.
- Report project progress, costs, schedules, and risks directly to clients.
- Interface with project managers, schedulers, engineers, and contractors.
- Conduct site briefings, ensure compliance, and handle project closeouts.
- Support storm response and produce technical reports.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in US electric utilities with expertise in transmission/distribution programs.
- Proven experience with field crews, engineers, and utility staff.
- Strong communication skills and valid US driver's license.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the US electric utility industry (experience)
- Demonstrated experience working with field personnel, construction crews, engineering personnel and utility staff (experience)
- Recent and in-depth expertise in electric power infrastructure projects with expert knowledge in managing large-scale Transmission and Distribution Programs (experience)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills (experience)
- Valid US driver's license required for regional and local travel (experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage overall construction activities on assigned projects including material management, EPC, and logistics for large-scale programs with multiple contractors
- Develop and review construction plans, outage coordination, commissioning planning, and safety planning
- Interface directly with clients to report progress, costs, schedule, and risks across transmission and distribution projects
- Conduct on-site construction management briefings and prepare status reports on schedule and uncertainties
- Ensure compliance with utility client standards, oversee contractor evaluations, project reconciliations, and closeouts
- Oversee proposal development defining project scope, schedule, and budgets
- Provide storm outage support and emergency response planning
- Write comprehensive technical project reports
