Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, calibrate, validate microscopic/mesoscopic traffic models using VISSIM/TransModeler.
  • Evaluate CAV/V2X impacts on safety, efficiency, emissions via simulations.
  • Research signal timing, adaptive control, transit priority.
  • Analyze datasets, generate AI-synthetic data with GANs/LLMs.
  • Collaborate on concepts of operations, requirements, technical docs.
  • Deliver reports, presentations, stakeholder support, proposals.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s in Transportation Engineering + 2 years experience.
  • 2+ years VISSIM/TransModeler; model calibration expertise.
  • Signal operations, DOT collaboration (1+ year).
  • AI/ML (1+ year, TensorFlow/PyTorch); programming (Python/etc.).
  • US authorization, Public Trust eligible.
