Join Leidos as a TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative (BSR) in Shitasawa Misawa, Aomori, Japan. This role supports active-duty military members and families through the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Ideal for those passionate about healthcare access and customer service in a dynamic overseas environment. Note: This is for future openings; qualified candidates enter our pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Process enrollments, disenrollments, portability transfers using DOES and MHS Genesis.
- Update Primary Care Managers (PCMs) following MTF guidelines.
- Deliver education on TRICARE benefits, claims, and resources via in-person/phone support.
- Lead briefings for in/out processing, maternity, and retirement events.
- Manage data entry for daily activities and Other Health Insurance (OHI).
- Escalate complex issues while maintaining HIPAA compliance and PHI confidentiality.
- Train new hires and provide remote support as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
- U.S. Citizenship; eligible for ADP IT III (Tier 1) clearance.
- 3+ years customer service experience.
Essential Skills
- Fluent English; proficient in MS Office suite.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of TRICARE TOP, DEERS, DOES, MHS Genesis.
- Experience in military healthcare, managed care, or medical claims.
- SOFA/Command-sponsored status preferred; Leidos assists post-hire.
Important Notes: Candidates cover all relocation costs (no reimbursement for housing/living/return travel). Fixed salary: $32,000 USD annually, non-negotiable. At Leidos, we outpace the status quo for mission success.
