Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Derive business processes, analyze user needs, and assist in requirements definition
- Design browser-based interfaces and conduct usability testing
- Elicit goals from stakeholders and facilitate discovery sessions
- Create conceptual models, journey maps, personas, and scenarios
- Prototype and refine screens; document requirements and recommendations
Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications)
- BS + 4 years experience (or equivalent)
- 3+ years Interaction/Interface design with User-Centered Methods
- Strong communication skills for technical and customer interactions
- US Citizen; Public Trust clearance eligible
Factors to Help You Shine (Key Skills)
- 3+ years documenting user requirements and designs
- 2+ years usability testing (interviews, card sorting, etc.)
- 2+ years presenting findings to groups
- Expertise in UCD principles, user research, and prototyping
