Leidos seeks a proven VA Subject Matter Expert to drive strategic growth in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) IT and federal health cyber initiatives. Based at our Reston, VA Global Headquarters with remote/teleworker flexibility, this role demands a strategic advisor who expands our IT portfolio across VA OIT agencies while enhancing cyber resilience for health missions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with account managers, BD leads, and capture teams to identify and pursue VA growth opportunities.
- Define innovative opportunity plays aligned with evolving federal requirements and customer pain points.
- Support enterprise-wide customer engagement, call plan execution, and on-contract growth strategies.
- Guide capture managers through pipeline reviews, black hat sessions, and proposal development.
- Conduct in-depth market research on budgets, competitors, and acquisition strategies.
- Deliver regular briefings to Leidos leadership on VA and federal health cyber landscapes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) + 15+ years relevant experience.
- Established relationships with VA/federal health stakeholders.
- Superior communication and leadership for complex growth activities.
- US Citizen eligible for security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep VA relationships and federal health IT proficiency.
- Expertise in government budgets, investments, and acquisitions.
- Proven self-starter capable of senior-level influence and independent execution.
