Vice President, Growth & Strategy — Defense & Intelligence IT at Leidos
Join Leidos as Vice President, Growth & Strategy for our Defense & Intelligence IT (DIIT) Business Area. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Growth, this executive role drives strategic expansion across DoD, Intelligence Community, and DHS customers. Focus on digital modernization including enterprise networks, cloud, transport, applications, defensive cyber, and warfighter connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2–4 year growth roadmap harmonized with sector goals and customer priorities.
- Lead capture execution: opportunity ID, qualification, shaping, win themes, teaming, and bids.
- Optimize pipeline with scenario planning, investment tradeoffs, and resource allocation.
- Integrate cutting-edge digital solutions into strategies.
- Build executive relationships to influence program direction.
- Track trends, competitors, and tech shifts for agile pivots.
- Mentor BD/capture leaders.
- Contribute to corporate growth forums and risk assessments.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 15+ years in govcon BD/capture/growth.
- Led $500M+ captures.
- Proven revenue growth in portfolios.
- DoD/IC/DHS expertise.
- Strategic/analytical skills; executive communication.
- Matrix team leadership.
- US citizenship; Top Secret clearance preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (business/engineering/IT).
- Growth/transformation experience.
- Thought leadership in DoD IT modernization.
- Translating disruptive tech to capture wins.
