Warehouse Manager - Leidos Australia

Leidos Australia delivers critical CBRND (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defence) solutions, supplying protection technology and training to the Australian Defence Force. Join our Prestons team to procure, inspect, test and ship protective equipment while advancing responses to evolving CBRN threats.

Your Impactful Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead warehouse operations in a high-stakes defence environment. Drive productivity through strategic planning, oversee goods flow from receipt to dispatch, manage inventory accuracy with regular audits, and ensure compliance with Leidos, CASG, WHS/EHS and ISO9001 standards. Coordinate a dynamic team of full-time and surge staff, fostering continuous improvement in hazardous materials handling and defence logistics.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications in warehouse or supply chain management (experience)

  • Knowledge of Defence logistics and hazardous material processes (experience)
  • Strong planning, coordination, reporting and IT skills (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, organise and control warehouse operations to meet productivity and efficiency goals
  • Oversee inwards/outwards goods, receiving, dispatch, storage, packaging, quarantine and compliance
  • Manage stock levels, conduct audits and maintain accurate inventory per Leidos and CASG requirements
  • Coordinate and lead warehouse staff including full-time and surge/temporary resources
  • Maintain WHS/EHS compliance, ISO9001 standards and drive continuous improvement
