Join our diverse team in Huntsville, AL, as a Weapon System Fielding Coordinator in an Army project office, tackling 'can't fail' missions with innovative engineering, IT, and logistics support.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Fielding Coordinator for assigned weapon systems, ensuring timely, technically sound responses to Logistics Directorate issues.
  • Develop critical documentation: Memorandum of Notification, Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP), and Materiel Fielding Agreement (MFA).
  • Collaborate with PM constituents, DA G8, gaining/supporting commands to secure personnel, facilities, equipment, and materiel for fielding sites.
  • Plan/execute on-site inventory, New Equipment Training (NET), and equipment hand-off per MFP/MFA.
  • Perform technical inspections before NET and issue to gaining commands.
  • Conduct joint inventories with unit commanders, transfer property via approved Accountable Property Systems.
  • Verify major Item Unique Identifiers (UII) for readability.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive After Action Reports.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS + 8-12 years, Masters + 6-10 years, or HS/GED + 19 years in weapons system logistics.
  • 3+ years fielding weapon hardware to Army units (CONUS/OCONUS).
  • Expertise in MFP/MFA.
  • U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Must reside in Huntsville, AL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years fielding weapon systems to Army units CONUS/OCONUS.
