Role & Mission

Your mission as Closing/Escrow Manager is to supervise the closing/escrow team, ensuring every transaction progresses flawlessly from contract to keys-in-hand. You'll track open escrows, prepare insightful sales reports and escrow flow charts, and review lot-specific escrow instructions. This role is pivotal in upholding Lennar's commitment to zero-defect homes, cost management, and schedule adherence. • Hire, Train, and Direct Team: Recruit top talent, provide hands-on training, and allocate workloads to closing associates for peak efficiency.
• Schedule Coordination: Align New Home Orientation (NHO) and settlement dates/times with Production teams and New Home Consultants (NHCs).
• Closing Instructions Processing: Prepare and submit instructions to Lennar Title/Mortgage, external title companies, and lenders.
• Issue Resolution: Manage settlement questions via email with lightning-fast response times to maintain momentum.
• Daily & Monthly Reporting: Handle Lennar Daily Settlements & Projections, plus Monthly Settlement Backlog Projections.
• Mortgage Updates: Track statuses with Eagle Home Mortgage and outside lenders; update JDE and Excel reports with NHO/COE dates and times.
• System Management: Update COE dates for current sales in JDE; review and sign seller documents.
• Calendar & Reporting Mastery: Maintain the closing calendar; create JDE/Excel reports for weekly distribution to stakeholders.
• Communications: Send Settlement Notification Letters to Buyers and NHCs; draft mortgage, closing, and cancellation default letters.
• Compliance & Tracking: Secure HUD Approvals; track Temporary Use & Occupancy (U&O) agreements and lender escrows for refunds.
• Quality Oversight: Ensure accuracy in contracts and closing documentation execution.
• Project Support: Assist with ad-hoc projects to drive divisional success.
