Role & Mission

As a Loan Officer at Lennar Mortgage, your mission is to seek and develop relationships for new business sources both internally and externally. By collecting and analyzing customer financial information, advising on mortgage risks and benefits, and selecting the ideal loan program from Lennar's roadmap, you'll guide clients to loan approval and closing.   • Travel regularly (at least weekly) to Lennar communities, realtor offices, and key locations in the Charleston area to solicit new business and cultivate leads from homebuilders.
  • Conduct engaging 'First Time Homebuyer Seminars' in Lennar communities to generate leads, educate buyers, and strengthen ties with New Home Consultants and prospects.
  • Participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events to build lasting relationships and deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Meet prospective and current customers in communities or other locations to explain Lennar Mortgage offerings, secure loan applications, collect documents, and attend closings.
  • Review daily leads and promptly contact prospects via phone and email to schedule in-person or virtual meetings, ensuring no opportunity slips away.
  • Originate and prepare new loans per the Loan Officer agreement and Products & Policies manual, guaranteeing compliance for upfront approvals.
  • Provide expert advice on mortgage products tailored to each customer's unique needs, simplifying complex financial decisions.
  • Monitor interest rates, lock loans with borrowers at least 15 days prior to closing, adhering to Secondary Marketing Pricing and Rate Lock Policies.
  • Assist New Home Consultants with customer pre-qualifications, pipeline development, and loan status updates to drive sales momentum.
  • Achieve or exceed closed loan capture rates, spot loan objectives, and division sales goals set by the Division Manager.
  • Maintain meticulous reports and notes in the origination system, tracking prospects, applications, status, conversations, underwriting, locks, projections, incentives, and expenses.

Technical & Behavioral Qualifications
