At Lennar Mortgage, we empower our Loan Officers to turn dreams into reality, helping families secure the keys to their new Lennar homes.

Executive Summary

Join Lennar as a full-time Loan Officer in a dynamic, remote role based from Panama City, Florida, with occasional travel to our Pensacola office. This outside sales position is perfect for a motivated professional passionate about mortgage origination, relationship-building, and driving home sales. You'll seek new business sources, interview prospects, analyze financials, recommend tailored loan products, and guide customers to loan approval—all while supporting Lennar's mission to build zero-defect homes and exceed customer expectations. With competitive estimated earnings of $80,000–$150,000 annually (base plus commission), this role offers uncapped potential in a high-growth industry.

Role & Mission

As a Loan Officer at Lennar Mortgage, your mission is to fuel the company's growth by originating high-quality mortgage loans that align with our homebuilding communities. This role combines the thrill of outside sales with the satisfaction of helping first-time buyers and seasoned homeowners achieve their dreams. Remote from Panama City, FL, you'll travel regularly to Lennar communities, realtor offices, and events across Northwest Florida, building a robust pipeline of referrals from New Home Consultants (NHCs), brokers, and builders. Your expertise ensures every loan meets our stringent Products and Policies manual, delivering seamless closings and exceptional service.

Detailed Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will be action-packed and results-driven. Here's a comprehensive breakdown:

  • Customer Engagement: Review daily leads, contact prospects via phone/email, and set up in-person or virtual meetings. Meet customers at homebuilding sites or convenient locations to interview them, collect financial data, explain mortgage offerings, and secure loan applications.
  • Loan Origination & Advisory: Analyze customer needs and recommend optimal loan products from Lennar's roadmap. Prepare loans per the Loan Officer agreement and Products & Policies manual. Lock rates at least 15 days pre-closing, adhering to Secondary Marketing guidelines.
  • Collaboration & Support: Assist NHCs with pre-qualifications to build sales pipelines. Provide loan status updates and attend closings. Participate in builder functions, phase releases, phone banks, and special events to maintain top-tier relationships.
  • Performance & Reporting: Meet or exceed closed loan capture rates, spot loan objectives, and division sales goals set by the Division Manager. Maintain meticulous notes in the origination system on prospects, applications, underwriting, and communications.
  • Travel & Flexibility: Expect regular travel within the region, including to Pensacola as needed, ensuring you're the go-to mortgage expert for Lennar teams.

These responsibilities demand a proactive, customer-centric approach, with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and sales excellence.
