Role & Mission

As a Construction Intern in our Future Builders Program, your mission is to support the seamless execution of homebuilding projects in the vibrant Irving, Texas market (Greenway area). You'll bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, ensuring trade partners deliver top-tier work on schedule and to code. Detailed Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will be hands-on and varied, offering a comprehensive view of construction operations:

• Supervise and Schedule Trade Partners: Assist in overseeing daily activities of trade partners, ensuring all work aligns with City, County, and State requirements, as well as stringent building codes. You'll learn to anticipate needs, allocate resources, and maintain project momentum.
• Deliver Weekly Progress Reports: Compile and communicate construction updates, feedback, and projected home completion dates to internal teams. Hone your data synthesis skills to provide actionable insights that keep projects on track.
• Foster Open Communication: Collaborate closely with trade partners and management to promote transparency. Drive quality output by proactively identifying and resolving issues before they escalate, building your reputation as a reliable team player.
