RESUME AND JOB
Lennar
Lennar, a proud Fortune 500® company, stands as one of America's premier homebuilders, crafting quality homes and fostering vibrant communities nationwide. With a legacy of excellence, Lennar has consistently ranked among the top homebuilders in the United States, delivering not just structures but extraordinary living experiences for homeowners. Our commitment extends beyond construction—we prioritize exceptional customer service, community giveback, and a nurturing culture that propels associates toward long-term success. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Lennar operates across key markets, including Jacksonville, Florida, where we're expanding opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
Are you a recent college graduate eager to transform raw land into thriving neighborhoods and help families achieve their homeownership dreams? Lennar's Future Builders Program—Homebuilding Track—is your launchpad. This intensive one-year developmental program, starting June 2026, immerses you in core operations like Construction, Land, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Care. Gain hands-on experience, mentorship from industry veterans, and structured training that builds technical prowess and leadership skills. High performers often transition to full-time roles, kickstarting rewarding careers in one of the nation's most dynamic industries.
As a Future Builder in the Homebuilding Track, your mission is to contribute to Lennar's vision of making homeownership accessible and exceptional. You'll rotate through high-impact departments, applying fresh perspectives to real-world challenges. Whether ensuring construction timelines are met, analyzing land acquisition feasibility, sourcing sustainable materials, guiding buyers through sales, or delighting customers post-purchase, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering quality homes that create lasting memories for families.
Depending on your interests and strengths, you'll dive into one or more of these dynamic areas:
Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation by June 2026) in Business Administration, Construction Management, Real Estate, Finance, Civil Engineering, Marketing, or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus; training provided. Basic understanding of construction processes, real estate markets, or supply chain logistics preferred.
Behavioral Qualifications: Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for homebuilding and community impact. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams, subcontractors, and customers. Analytical mindset for problem-solving and decision-making under deadlines. Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership through internships, extracurriculars, or part-time roles. Commitment to safety, quality, and customer-centricity.
The Future Builders Program is more than entry-level—it's a strategic accelerator. Through rotations, you'll build a 360-degree view of homebuilding operations, positioning you for roles like Construction Manager, Land Acquisition Analyst, Purchasing Specialist, Sales Consultant, or Customer Service Lead. High achievers transition to full-time positions with clear promotion tracks. Lennar invests in your growth via ongoing training, leadership workshops, tuition reimbursement, and mentorship pairings. Many alumni advance to senior roles, divisional leadership, or corporate positions, enjoying long-term stability in a recession-resistant industry.
Every task matters: Your scheduling ensures families move into safe homes on time. Your market analysis unlocks affordable communities. Your supplier oversight delivers enduring quality. You'll witness raw land become playgrounds, kitchens host family dinners, and dreams materialize. Beyond professional wins, contribute to Lennar's community initiatives—scholarships, habitat builds, and sustainability efforts—amplifying your legacy in Jacksonville and beyond.
Lennar prioritizes your well-being with competitive compensation (estimated $55,000–$70,000 base for program participants, based on market data), comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage starting Day 1. Enjoy 401(k) with generous company match, paid time off (15+ days/year), paid holidays, parental leave, and employee assistance programs. Perks include tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year, wellness stipends, team-building events, and exclusive homebuyer discounts for associates.
Thrive in Lennar's inclusive, collaborative environment emphasizing work-life balance, innovation, and recognition. Our Jacksonville team embodies 'People First'—diverse, supportive, and fun-loving.
