Role & Mission

• Bid Package Mastery: Prepare comprehensive bid packages, including detailed Scopes of Work, Payment Schedules, and specifications, to facilitate informed bidder selection and competitive pricing.
• Contract & Compliance Oversight: Review site development plans, manage contracts, material take-offs, and systems like BuildPro and JDE. Monitor trade partner adherence to requirements, resolve conflicts, and enforce insurance/budget policies.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Implement sourcing strategies that streamline supply chains, reduce division-wide costs, and enhance efficiency across projects.
• Financial & Timeline Management: Support VP of Purchasing with community timelines, workflow oversight, prompt progress payments, discrepancy audits, and participation in monthly budget meetings.
• Blueprint & Spec Proficiency: Thoroughly review and understand residential blueprints, specifications, and nationwide construction practices to inform purchasing decisions.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate positive, long-term relationships with trade partners while upholding departmental standards.

Technical Requirements
