  • Financial Reporting Excellence: Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly Division reports to region and corporate stakeholders as required. Complete quarterly balance sheet packages and participate in yearly/quarterly P&L projections for business plan submissions.
  • Payroll Mastery: Manage the entire Division payroll process, ensuring accuracy in submissions, record retention for audits, and handling of expense reports, bi-weekly commissions, advances, and bonuses.
  • P&L Analysis and Variance Scrutiny: Conduct monthly P&L analysis, identify discrepancies, escalate concerns, and facilitate monthly financial ops meetings to scrub variances from budget on job costs for closing homes.
  • Accounts Payable and Vendor Management: Serve as primary backup to Land Controller for land accounts payable; match receipts, code invoices for P-Card, and post to General Ledger. Manage vendor insurance maintenance, compliance, and collection of energy/miscellaneous rebates.
  • Audit and Compliance Leadership: Support Division Controller and Assistant Controller in responding to internal/external audit requests timely and accurately. Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX, and regional/corporate policies.
  • Month-End Close and Special Projects: Contribute to month-end close processes, SOP/price change requests, review of pushed-down bills from Region/Corporate, and backups for projects like Quarterly Warranty spending reviews, New Community setups in JDE, and legal bill processing in Serengeti.
  • Asset and Equipment Oversight: Maintain schedules for leased trailers and office equipment on/offsite.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Other duties as assigned, embodying Lennar's culture of flexibility and excellence.
