Role & Mission

The Senior IT Auditor's mission is to conduct meticulous audits of information technology controls, aligning with authoritative standards like SOX, COBIT, NIST, and ISO, as well as Lennar's Enterprise Security Office guidelines. You will manage audits, projects, and remediation plans to mitigate IT and security risks across Lennar Technology Services (LTS). By assessing control environments and recommending enhancements, you ensure our IT infrastructure supports business priorities while safeguarding sensitive data and systems. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal IT audits and rigorous control self-testing programs to verify controls are adequately designed and effectively mitigate IT/security risks within company policies, procedures, standards, and risk limits.
  • Audit, assess, and confirm that robust controls and processes exist to manage IT risks in alignment with business priorities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on IT policy, standards, and frameworks, proactively bridging gaps between control requirements, technical challenges, and business risks.
  • Proactively research emerging changes in the IT governance landscape, industry trends, and external compliance requirements to stay ahead of risks.
  • Ensure IT risk management practices are embedded enterprise-wide, with clear definitions of systems and data criticality/sensitivity.
  • Construct detailed corrective action plans for control weaknesses, providing expert guidance to prevent recurrence.
  • Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) on audit issue closure rates; conduct testing and validation of remediation plans and control enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Security Office for security-related control testing and remediation support.
  • Demonstrate effective relationships with key stakeholders, incorporating business strategy into decision-making.
