Role & Mission

The mission of the Senior IT Auditor is to fortify Lennar's IT landscape against emerging risks, ensuring robust control design and operational effectiveness. You'll audit information technology controls in line with authoritative standards from the Lennar Enterprise Security Office, SOX regulations, COBIT frameworks, NIST guidelines, and ISO protocols. By managing audits, projects, remediation plans, and continuous improvements, you'll mitigate IT and security risks across LTS. This role bridges technical expertise with business strategy, empowering Lennar to build zero-defect homes, manage costs, and adhere to schedules without compromise. Detailed Responsibilities

• Conduct internal IT audits and rigorous control self-testing programs to verify that controls are adequately designed and effectively mitigate IT and security risks within established policies, procedures, standards, and risk limits.
• Audit, assess, and confirm that robust controls and processes are implemented to manage IT risks in alignment with business priorities and corporate objectives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on IT policy, standards, and frameworks, proactively bridging gaps between control requirements, technical challenges, and business risks.
• Proactively research evolving industry trends, IT governance practices, and external compliance landscapes to stay ahead of potential threats.
• Ensure IT risk management practices are embedded enterprise-wide, with clear definitions of systems and data criticality and sensitivity.
• Construct detailed corrective action plans for resolving control weaknesses, providing expert guidance to prevent recurrence and enhance future resilience.
• Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) on audit issue closure rates, including testing and validation of remediation plans and control routine enhancements.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Security Office for security-related control testing and remediation as needed.
• Demonstrate effective working relationships with key stakeholders, incorporating business strategy into decision-making and mentoring junior associates.
• Take ownership within your area of expertise, identify improvement opportunities, create implementation plans approved by senior leadership, and prioritize work based on business drivers.
