Executive Summary

In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the strategic bridge between finance, technology, and product management within Lennar's Technology Group (LTG). As Technical Product Manager - FP&A, you'll own the evolution of our core financial planning and analysis platforms, including Oracle JD Edwards (E1) and Oracle EPM solutions. Detailed Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Define and own the comprehensive product vision and multi-year roadmap for FP&A systems, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and executive management reporting.
• Translate complex FP&A business requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with Lennar's strategic objectives.
• Partner with Finance leadership to prioritize initiatives based on ROI, business value, technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and scalability across divisions.
• Champion automation and AI/ML integration to transform manual, error-prone workloads into intelligent, real-time financial insights.

Oracle EPM Transformation Leadership

• Lead end-to-end modernization of Oracle EPM platforms, driving migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Design future-state FP&A models in partnership with LTG architects, incorporating advanced planning, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Orchestrate seamless integrations between Oracle JD Edwards (E1), Oracle EPM, enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake, Azure Synapse), and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Optimize data flows for community-level forecasting, division P&L consolidation, and enterprise-wide financial consolidation.

FP&A & Homebuilding Domain Expertise

• Serve as the go-to expert for homebuilding-specific financial complexities, including:
• Land acquisition and development modeling with entitlement risks and vertical integration costs
• Job cost accounting across multi-phase construction projects
• Cost-to-complete forecasting for active communities
• Backlog management and margin analytics
• Revenue recognition under ASC 606 with percentage-of-completion methodologies
• WIP scheduling and percentage-of-completion calculations
• Support multi-entity structures across Lennar's decentralized divisions, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations and consolidations.

Technical & Delivery Leadership

• Collaborate daily with engineering teams—architects, developers, data engineers, and QA—to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery through agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, release trains, and PI objectives with a focus on configuration over customization for long-term maintainability.
• Drive technical decisions balancing innovation with operational stability, including API design, data governance, and security/compliance (SOX, GDPR).

Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership

• Develop comprehensive training programs, user adoption strategies, and change management frameworks to maximize system ROI.
• Deliver executive presentations on roadmap progress, key milestones, risks, and business outcomes to LTG and Finance leadership.
• Foster cross-functional relationships across divisions, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise initiatives like ERP harmonization and digital transformation.

Technical & Behavioral Qualifications

Technical Must-Haves

• 7+ years in product management, with 3+ years focused on FP&A systems (Oracle EPM, JD Edwards, Anaplan, or Workday Adaptive)
• Proven experience leading financial system transformations in large, multi-division enterprises
• Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure, OCI) and integration patterns (ETL/ELT, APIs, Kafka)
• Agile/SAFe certification and experience with enterprise delivery frameworks

Domain & Behavioral Excellence

• Deep understanding of homebuilding financial models (land dev, job costing, rev rec)
• MBA, CPA, or advanced degree in Finance/Accounting
• Exceptional stakeholder influence and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with bias for action and results orientation
• Experience in decentralized organizations with 50+ entities/divisions
