Executive Summary

Join Lennar as a Technical Product Manager - Land / Accounting and lead the digital transformation of our land-related financial systems. This pivotal role owns the product strategy and delivery for Terra, Foundry, and their seamless integration with core ERP, FP&A, and data platforms in a large-scale homebuilding organization. Role & Mission

The mission of this role is to revolutionize Lennar's Land Accounting systems, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in every phase of land acquisition, development, and inventory management. As the product owner for Terra and Foundry platforms, you will champion initiatives that eliminate inefficiencies, leverage AI/ML for predictive analytics, and integrate with enterprise systems to support strategic decision-making. Your leadership will directly impact Lennar's ability to deliver zero-defect homes on schedule while optimizing costs and adhering to compliance standards. Detailed Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Own the end-to-end product vision, multi-year roadmap, and prioritized backlog for Land Accounting systems and capabilities, aligning with Lennar's strategic growth objectives.
• Translate complex business needs from Land, Accounting, and Finance teams into actionable product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive measurable improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Land/Accounting stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on business value, ROI, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and platform scalability.
• Demonstrate expertise in automation and AI/ML practices to transform manual workloads, such as predictive lot cost forecasting and automated impairment analysis.

Land Accounting & Platform Transformation

• Lead comprehensive transformation initiatives across Terra and Foundry platforms, focusing on critical homebuilding processes including land acquisition and option accounting, lot development cost capitalization and allocation, inventory tracking, lot cost rollups, and joint venture/multi-entity land structures.
• Drive system modernization efforts to enhance data accuracy, financial transparency, and cycle times, reducing errors and enabling real-time visibility for division leaders.

Terra & Foundry Platform Leadership

• Serve as the authoritative product manager for Terra and Foundry platforms, overseeing all enhancements, integrations, and optimizations.
• Partner with LTG teams, architects, developers, data engineers, and key business stakeholders to design future-state workflows, scalable architectures, and robust integrations with ERP (e.g., job costing), FP&A, Treasury, and advanced reporting platforms.
• Ensure platforms are future-proofed for Lennar's expanding portfolio of divisions and regions.

Homebuilding Domain Expertise

• Provide specialized support for homebuilding-specific processes, including phase-level land development accounting, lot takedown schedules, cost reforecasting, impairment analysis, and land valuation methodologies.
• Architect solutions that scale seamlessly across multiple divisions, regions, and legal entities, accommodating the unique complexities of Lennar's nationwide operations.

Technical & Delivery Leadership

• Collaborate with technical teams including architects, developers, data engineers, and system integrators to balance configuration versus customization, prioritizing long-term platform sustainability and maintainability.
• Lead agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, testing, release management, and production readiness to ensure high-quality deployments with minimal disruption.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Drive user adoption through comprehensive training programs, detailed documentation, and proactive change management strategies tailored to field users and finance leaders.
• Communicate roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes to senior stakeholders via executive presentations, dashboards, and regular updates.

Technical & Behavioral Qualifications

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; CPA, PMP, or Product Management certification highly preferred.
• 7+ years in product management, with 4+ years focused on financial systems in homebuilding, real estate, or construction industries.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terra, Foundry, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), and integrations; proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and API design.
• Proven success implementing AI/ML for finance automation, such as predictive analytics for land valuation or cost forecasting.
