Role Overview

Lineage Logistics is seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Coleshill. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. This role involves conducting vehicle checks, securing loads, performing trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. You will work a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern with start times around 05:00.

A Day in the Life of a HGV Class 1 Driver

Your day will begin with a thorough inspection of your vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and compliant with all regulations. You will check the tires, brakes, lights, and other essential components, reporting any defects promptly. Once the vehicle is deemed safe, you will oversee the loading of goods, ensuring they are correctly loaded and securely fastened.

Throughout the day, you will perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries, adhering to strict timelines and safety protocols.
