A Day in the Life of a Shipping & Receiving Operator:

• 8:00 AM: Arrive at the warehouse, put on required safety gear (PPE), and receive your work orders for the day.
• 8:30 AM: Begin reading and interpreting work orders to determine the quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• 9:00 AM: Use a forklift or pallet jack to locate and retrieve requested items from the warehouse storage locations.
• 10:00 AM: Visually inspect items for damages or flaws and document any discrepancies.
• 10:30 AM: Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning equipment to verify counts.
• 11:30 AM: Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of loads.
