Position Summary

As a Liquids Measurement Technician in the Eagle Ford, you’ll ensure accurate oil and gas measurement compliant with company policies, contracts, and regulations. Reporting to the Measurement Foreman, you’ll support field operations, audits, and system improvements while championing safety. This safety-sensitive role involves working with calibrated equipment, flow computers, and well/facility operations in a dynamic unconventional resource environment.

The Eagle Ford represents ConocoPhillips’ second most prolific unconventional asset. Our focus on customized well spacing and stacking, backed by rigorous reservoir analysis, drives efficiency and production growth.

What You Will Do

  • Manage workload testing, proving, and troubleshooting various meters.
  • Enroll in respiratory program and work under supplied air systems.
  • Self-manage inventory and documentation using ConocoPhillips systems like TestIT.
  • Assist specialists with testing modern technologies, equipment, or trial systems.
  • Aid in measurement design for new facilities, expansions, and systems.
  • Support internal/external audits with Foreman and Specialists.
  • Contribute to development/revision of Measurement SOPs.
  • Coordinate meter testing schedules and resolve discrepancies.
  • Backfill responsibilities for other technicians as needed.

What We Are Looking For

Basic/Required Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Current/valid driver’s license.
  • 1+ years experience with Oil/Gas Measurement systems.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Teams.
  • Willing to travel 10% yearly.
  • Reside or relocate within 40-mile radius of Kenedy, TX.
  • Able to work in temperature extremes, adverse weather, climb 24 ft, lift, stoop, use tools, work weekends/on-call.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in oil/gas measurement (preferred expansion from basic).
