Boise Ford’s’ Commercial Fleet Service Center Technician Offerings:

• Experienced A & B techs pay range: $22-40 flat rate hour
• Experienced C & D techs pay range: $17-20 flat rate hour
• Pay rates vary depending on experience and qualifications
• No cap on hours for self-motivated technicians: never a shortage of work, flag all you want. Plenty of carry over to the next day sometimes 3. Average hours 125 per two weeks w/ high performers in the 200-hour range.
• Commercial Fleet Service Center is Open: M-F from 7-6

About Boise Ford’s Commercial Fleet Service Center:

• 10 Bays: 9 main-line and 1 quick-lube. Parts Runners for active jobs to deliver parts and Porters to help move vehicles in and out of bays.
• State of the art shop equipment, all Ford specialty tools. Heated shop with swamp coolers. Excellent lighting.

Responsibilities:

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Qualifications:

• Prior automotive repair experience preferred
• ASE and manufacturer certification, desired
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
