Senior Manager, Retail Marketing Operations (RMO)

Location: Regional - FL & TX (Travel Required)

Compensation: The full salary range for this position is $115,000 - $165,000 annually (plus bonus opportunity). The anticipated starting pay is determined by factors such as skills, experience, and organizational considerations. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Retail Marketing Operations (RMO) leads a regional field marketing team responsible for driving dealership performance through innovative, customer-focused marketing strategies. This role partners closely with Regional and Store Leaders, Lithia Home Office teams, and external partners to increase quality traffic, customer loyalty, and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of up to 10 Retail Marketing Operations Managers and Project Managers

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and succession planning support

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Drive regional performance across customer loyalty, satisfaction, sales, aftersales growth, and profitability

  • Own the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as reflected in key company metrics, including the Store Performance Scorecard and Customer Ecosystem Scorecard

  • Partner with Regional Operational and Store Leaders to align marketing strategies with business goals

Customer Loyalty & Experience

  • Design and execute marketing strategies that strengthen long-term customer relationships

  • Leverage Lithia’s internal technology and customer ecosystem tools to enhance retention and engagement

  • Identify opportunities using customer data and measure success through loyalty and performance scorecards

OEM & Partner Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong OEM relationships at both regional and national levels

  • Align OEM initiatives with dealership marketing strategies to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty

Data, Technology & Analytics

  • Guide teams using customer insights, analytics, and market intelligence

  • Deliver data-driven recommendations based on customer behavior and performance trends

  • Leverage emerging technologies to support personalized, targeted marketing efforts

Campaign & Content Execution

  • Partner with LAD Marketing teams and external agencies to develop impactful, customer-focused campaigns

  • Measure and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI

Market Adaptability & Advocacy

  • Monitor market conditions and industry trends to continuously improve strategies

  • Champion company initiatives and serve as a trusted resource for field teams and internal partners

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent experience

  • Strong knowledge of automotive retail, dealership operations, and automotive marketing

  • Experience with Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Proven ability to analyze data and measure marketing ROI

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
