Job Description

Dealership:

L0225 MINI of Portland

Portland Mini

Now Hiring Used Vehicle Technician

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 flat rate based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy on all makes and models, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose cause of malfunction.
  • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
  • Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
  • Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
  • Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
  • Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
  • Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a technician in a vehicle repair shop or dealership, required

Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in the following areas with no supervision:

  • Lube and Maintenance Services
  • Engine Repair
  • Suspension/Steering Repair
  • Brake Repair
  • Heating and A/C Repair (Optional)
