Position Summary
The Litho Console Technician operates KBA Metalstar steel flat-sheet printing presses on a 7PM-7:30AM 12-hour night shift at our state-of-the-art facility at 2121 Warner Road SE, Canton, OH 44707. Earn $39.82/hr while ensuring high-quality lithographic printing, safety compliance, and efficient production in a food-safe manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with safety practices, PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and emergency procedures while performing BBS observations.
- Operate printing presses: load pallets, format stackers, perform UV checks, manage centerline controls, and read spec sheets.
- Prepare and apply coatings/inks, demonstrate ink theory, color matching, and press plate making.
- Conduct quality inspections, defect recognition, and data entry in L2L, Infinity, and QAD systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, lubrication, and housekeeping per 5S guidelines.
- Stage packaging materials, band pallets, manage chemical disposal, and follow GMP/HACCP/SQF protocols.
- Train team members, relieve operators, and communicate via SQDC boards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with broad manufacturing training.
- Proficiency in litho equipment operation, safety, and food safety standards.
- Mechanical aptitude for maintenance, tool use, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift loads, read schedules, and handle chemicals safely.
- Experience with printing presses, color matching, and production software a plus.
