Description:

You will be the Air Dominance Program Manager for the Air Dominance Program Management Team. Our team is responsible for delivering world‑class air‑dominance capabilities through integrated hardware development and test execution.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Air Dominance Program Manager you will be responsible for driving cost, technical, and schedule performance of subsystem and system‑level qualification projects on the EMD contract.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Manage cost, technical, and schedule performance of hardware qualification projects.

  • Lead the Integration and Test IPT, ensuring program objectives are met on time and within budget.

  • Identify barriers and risks, and develop mitigation or opportunity plans.

  • Coordinate activities across the Air Dominance portfolio, managing inter‑contract dependencies.

  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance and decision‑making to sustain hardware development momentum.

Security Clearance Requirement


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.


Basic Qualifications:
• Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, integration and test or similar) with 8+ years experience in an applicable engineering discipline
• Leadership of cross-functional team with scope > $10M, with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance
• Experience leading subordinate leaders and developing talent (i.e. IPT leads)
• Experience in risk identification and management
• Strong problem solving skills; Quick learner
• Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills, including the ability to interface at all levels and across multiple functions and customer sets.
• Experience establishing strong customer relationships
• Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management
• Familiarity working in classified environments
• Active Secret security clearance with an investigation within 5 years with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance as well as a Special Access Program clearance.
• Must have the ability to travel up to 30%

• Experience with missile systems & sub-systems design, qualification and integration
• Experience with Development Programs
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Knowledge of program and financial measurements (orders, sales, EBIT and cash)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
