Description:PERFORMS SUCH TYPICAL DISTINGUISHING DUTIES
AS:

Determines type and kind of materials needed and
performs general plant maintenance duties such as
plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repair,
according to instructions, specifications, and trade
practices; performs such typical maintenance and
shop work as making routine functional and
performance inspections and correct, repairs, or paints
as required.


PERFORMS RELATED DUTIES AS:
Sets up and operates machine tools such as grinders,
drill presses, and power saws to make new parts or
rework parts for repair as required, including
carpentry-related equipment to cut lumber to size for
facilities repair jobs.

Cleans, drains, degreases, lubricates. Operates pipe threader, drain snake, and emergency generators and pumps as required.

Changes filters, belts, pulleys. Assist other crafts as required.

May mix, blend, and match various colors of paint for touch-up repairs.

Operates and works from moving and/or telescoping boom vehicles and equipment as required.

Cleans and stores equipment, tools, safety devices,
protective clothing, etc.

Prepares working and recording sketches as required,
notes material needed.

Works at various heights.

Must possess a valid California driver’s license.

Must possess certifications required by the Company
by law.
Basic Qualifications:
Two years experience in facility maintenance.

Experience with multiple hand tools.
Desired Skills:
Thinks critically and drives to understand how
equipment works.

Willing to contribute to the team’s skill,
knowledge and understand by positively
communicating and assisting within a team
environment.

Experience in all trades of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repair.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The base range for this position in California is $25.97 - $45.13.
