Job Description


Description:Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge in the development and analysis of production data and capacity requirements to optimize production planning and scheduling

- Experience in developing and maintaining accurate production standards, including standard times and labor requirements

- Cross functional collaboration

- Support continuous improvement through the use of Lean/Sigma and DMAIC tools.

- 3+ years of Industrial Engineering experience
Desired Skills:
- Aerospace experience

- MES Experience

- Tableau experience

- Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a role related to capacity planning and production standards

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, and other manufacturing software and tools

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production plans are aligned with company goals and objectives

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including production teams, engineers, management, and technicians.

- Experience in production floor modeling

- GB Certification

- Working and completing capital projects

- Knowledge of 6S

- Experience with automated manufacturing processes and digital manufacturing tools

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
