We are currently seeking a logistics professional to serve as the Senior Manager of Logistics & Inventory Management across the southeast region including sites in Alabama, Louisiana and Florida. This position will be based out of our Courtland Alabama site and have travel to our Huntsville site a few days a week and will provide leadership and expertise to the other sites (some travel required). This role has primary responsibility for key logistics functions such as Receiving, Stockroom and inventory management, Material handling, movement and distribution, Shipping, Traffic and transportation, Hazmat, ordnance and dangerous goods transport, safety and compliance, Audit readiness and support as well as High value hardware and critical ops transports. This leadership position will also be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. This position works regularly with Space Operations, site and Program leadership and needs to have a focus on safety and quality of both people and hardware.
Basic Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience in one of the following disciplines: Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Transportation

Demonstrated strong leadership with focus on coaching, teaching and developing subordinates

Proven track record of complex problem solving working across organizations

Ability to travel 1x per quarter

Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience in a rate production environment
APICS certified
Greenbelt/Blackbelt certified
Ordnance handling, safety & compliance
DOT requirements familiarization
Airlift and over the road critical transports
Previous aerospace or military experience
Familiarity with ERP systems: SAP
Effective communicator with Executive level management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
