Join our team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Machining Operations Center/Manufacturing Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for creating and improving manufacturing strategies for ultraprecision CNC machined. Our team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer your focus will be on driving solutions, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver verbal and written status reports, highlighting project milestones and progress.
- Communicate project risks, solutions, and schedule impacts to stakeholders.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure the team is progressing in the right direction.
- Represent the team in programmatic reviews and status meetings.
- Assist in the development of proposals.
- Create/update work instructions, mfg. sketches, and other shop floor documentation to support production needs.
- Coordinate shop‑floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Organize discussions and approaches to Root Cause analysis of component non‑conformances and ensure implementation of effective Corrective Action.
- Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Effective project management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience working with cross-functional groups
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems and issues as they arise
• Experience with data analytics.
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action tools
• Understanding of CNC machining
• Understanding of Computer Aided (CAD)
• Experience interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Proficient in utilizing Computer Aided (CAD)
• Experience using precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment.
• General understanding of Mil-Spec special processes (heat treatment, chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.).
• Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications.
• SAP and Apriso experience
• Windchill PLM
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Proposal development experience
