THE WORK
- Supervise the assembly, testing and control of in-process and finished goods to ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Responsible for employee recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management, recognition and disciplinary actions.
- Drive actions to ensure quality, cost and schedule commitments are met.
- Lead daily status meetings to communicate current status, priorities and challenges with the program team. -
- Lead Performance Management Team(s) to drive process improvements throughout the factory.
- Encourage employee engagement and implement suggestions and ideas to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
-Demonstrated ability to lead a team of assemblers and test technicians to meet quality, cost and schedule goals.

-Experience in a single piece flow manufacturing environment and lean manufacturing techniques.

-Ability to understand procedures, work instructions, specifications, blueprints, engineering drawings and apply this knowledge in day-to-day activities.
Desired Skills:
-Continuous improvement mindset.

-Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers, including DCMA.

-Performance Management Team (PMT) and 6S experience.

-Knowledgeable in cables, harnesses, and subassembly manufacturing.

-Experience with SAP/COS.

-Green Belt Certified

-Ability to effectively communicate leadership/factory initiatives to team members.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
