Description:What You Will Be Doing
The supervisor will be responsible for planning daily activities, sequencing, assigning work to support desired goals and targets across multiple COE Assembly Work Areas. Candidate must have exceptional people-skills and cultivate program performance on all aspects of quality, cost, and schedule.
• Lead a team of approximately 20 employees with a focus on rate assembly operations.
• Responsible for motivating improvement, corrective actions, identifying risk mitigation actions, and solving complex problems across multiple programs such as F-35, F-16, F-22, etc.
• Embrace Full Spectrum Leadership qualities to develop supports and empower teams to encourage ownership throughout the organization.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with tools and processes involving drilling, grinding, fastening and sanding as well as other machines and systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.

- Managing business metrics to drive performance (Quality, Schedule, and Cost).

- Working knowledge of crew planning, line balancing, and project management.

- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, and Power BI)
Desired Skills:
- Previous leadership experience

- Experience in manufacturing/productions methodologies relating to structural and mechanical assemblies.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Experience with Solumina, MTO, and/or SAP systems.

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and application.

- Degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
